Teddy Tam Visited San Francisco
25 January 2003

25 January 2003

It was very nice of Teddy Tam paying Kelly Chang a visit in San Francisco. They met at a small cafe
in San Francisco Chinatown on late evening of 24 January 2003. Besides catching up with things
after had not seen each other for 30 years, the main topic of discussion focussed on our second
30-year gathering (a.k.a. 30-yr Reunion II).

We should all thank Teddy for being so kind to lead in organizing the 30-year reunion II,
tentatively scheduled in June 2003, probably in Toronto, Canada. Teddy has spent many hours already
communicating with many our former classmates all over the world regarding location, time frame, travel, etc.

The following subjects were discussed:
    - ample time for social among former classmates (lesson learned from the 16 Nov 2002 gathering)
    - reasonably priced and food quality
    - events on a weekend afternoon and evening, tentatively latter part of June 2003
    - location: easy on parking (for locals) and public transportation (for out of towners)
    - optional excursion (for out of towners)
    - family oriented for either the afternoon or evening event
    - inviting former teachers
    - souvenirs and memorabilia

Teddy will begin contact and have the date finalized very soon, hopefully within a week or two.
Any news and development will be posted to our web site.
