Mini-Gathering in Hong Kong

13 Aug 2005

A big thank you to Simon C. for arranging another gathering in Hong Kong. The plan was
to invite some of our former teachers like Mrs. Sze who can only attend our gathering during
lunch. Unfortunately, she was not able to join us.

Even though the mini-gathering was attended by only 5 classmates, none realized about 3 hours
had flew by so quickly. The warm atmosphere at the lunch table contrasts the depressing grey sky
outside -- an ugly storm that brought thunders and lightening mixed with down pours -- not a
pleasant day for any outdoor event on this Saturday afternoon.

The conversation covered the future of Hong Kong, and some mentioned perhaps us, those
who caught the last "baby boomer" train, should consider themselves being among the most
fortunate HKners. While eating fruit and sweet pastry desserts, Kelly and Simon might have
recruited some future Hood Canal attendee prospects.
